Description
RECOVERY - MEDFORD INTERAGENCY OFFICE SOLAR GRID TIE DESIGN-BUILD.This solicitatin has been posted at www.fedconnect.net.This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies and materials to design and install a complete grid-connected photovoltaic power system, including its solar power generation system; steel construction, cantilever-roof, carport support structure(s) arranged in the existing parking lot configuration; internet based parameter system monitor; and connection to the public utility. The system shall produce approximately 50 kilowatts of electricity. The system shall be installed in the existing paved fleet parking lot and connected to the nearest service entrance, as shown in the drawings. Project price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS: 236220. Project site located at Jackson County, Medford District Office, Oregon. Estimated start work is July 1, 2010 and performance time is 150 calendar days. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: 20%; Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 100%. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fedconnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
