- The US Army Soldier Systems Center, Natick Contracting Division, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Hills, Inc of West Melbourne, FL, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, a quantity of 2 each, Polymer Distribution Plate Sets. Each set will produce 1200 High Island Count Islands In The Sea (HICINS) bi-component fiber when used with the High Performance Fiber Facilitys tri-component unit (NRX-11). The Polymer Distribution Plate Sets must be compatible with the High Performance Fiber Facility (HPFF) existing spinpack set-up with existing 36 hole spinneret. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333292. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3552. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is planned.
