- This contract is for the reclamation of the Phil Mac Enterprises Bond Forfeiture Project located off Stinking Creek Road in Stinking Creek, Campbell County, Tennessee. The work under this contract will consist of: 1) mobilization and demobilization of the contractor's labor, equipment and materials; 2) site preparation, including clearing and grubbing and erosion and sediment control; 3) mine strip pit and sediment pond dewatering; 4) excavation and placement of material required to backfill the dewatered mine strip pit and sediment pond; 5) site regrading; and 6) revegetation of all disturbed areas. The estimated cost range is under $111,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition in 237990. The small business size standard is $33.5M. A PREBID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON 05/27/10 @ 10:00 AM. PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ARE TO MEET AT THE PROJECT SITE. DIRECTIONS TO THE PROJECT SITE ARE: FROM ROUTE I-75 TAKE STINKING CREEK EXIT 144. TURN RIGHT AND TRAVEL ABOUT 9.7 MILES. AFTER PASSING BAIRD LANE, TRAVEL APPROXIMATELY 200 YARDS AND TURN RIGHT ONTO THE NEXT GRAVEL DRIVEWAY. PROCEED 200 YARDS TO THE PERMIT AREA. Bids will be opened on June 21, 2010. An original hard copy of the completed and signed IFB along with a 20% BId Guarantee, Section K Reps and Certs and completed AML Contractor Information Form are due at the depository in 3 Parkway Center, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 on June 21, 2010 @ 2:00 pm. Electronic and/or faxed bids will not be accepted. Contractors doing business with the Government are required to have a DUNs number, register in the Central Contractor Registration at ccr.gov data base and complete on line representations and certifications at orca.bpn.gov.
