- Description
- This solicitation is to procure a compact hydraulic excavator for the US Army Corp of Engineers, Demopolis Site Office. The specifications are as follows: Size - a maximum width of 65 inches, height of 98 inches and an operating weight of 8,000 lbs, Engine - a minimum 30 horsepower, Tier III or IV diesel engine, minimum fuel capacity of 14 gallons, Power Train - 2- Speed Travel, joystick lever control with arm rest, Backhoe One (1) 24 inch bucket with standard bolt-on digging teeth and with hydraulic thumb or clamp, One (1) minimum 36 inch Ditch Cleaning Bucket, digging depth of at least 10 feet, reach of 16 feet, Hydraulic System Digging force for the bucket a minimum of 7,000 lbs and 4,200 lb for the arm, Electrical 12 volt system The excavator will be delivered 101 21st Avenue, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, no later than 120 days after receipt of order. Shipping terms are FOB Destination. It is anticipated that a fixed Price contract will be awarded. This procurement is a set aside for small business under NAICS 333120. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the flowing website Https://www.fbo.gov on or about 28 April 2010. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format. Therefore, it is the bidders responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation.
