- Solicitation Number: AG-05K3-S-10-0032 The Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to solicit prospective contractors to provide road decommissioning. Work includes creation of road closure berms, scarification of 200 feet of road surface, removal of all culverts including any remnant culverts in stream channels, and associated down pipes and accessories (culvert stakes, etc.). Proper disposal of culverts off National Forest lands as well as seeding with native seed and mulching with certified weed free straw on the excavated areas at culvert and cross drain removal locations will also be required. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code is 115310- Support Activities for Forestry with a corresponding size standard of $7 million. The location of this project is approximately 44 miles Northeast of Amboy, Washington; Township 7N, Range 7E Section 5 and Township 8N, Range 7E Section 32, off of Road 93. Offerors will be evaluated on the basis of price, past performance, experience, and other criteria as established in the solicitation. Contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the government. The solicitation for this project will be issued on or around June 3, 2010 with offers due June 23, 2010. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
