- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR MICROSEMIDIODES. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice servesas the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not beissued.The purpose of this amendment is to respond to the questions received as follows:(Q1) Are standard packaging conditions acceptable or is there a special condition foreach lot?(A1) There are no special packaging conditions for Microsemi Diodes.(Q2) What is the application that these diodes are being used for? As you know, thediodes will need certification for any space application. Will you provide additionalinformation such as application, project etc.?The manufacturer requires thisinformation.(A2) This buy is for ground development and testing, so there is no certificationrequired. Subsequent buys for qualification and eventually flight production will needcertification paperwork. (Q3) Are you hoping to take delivery of the full quantities of each item by the 18 weeksthat is stated in the RFQ, or would you be scheduling items out?(A3) There will be no scheduling. Full quantities are expected within 18 weeks. (Q4) Are there any date code restrictions?(A4) No.(Q5) Does the parts have to be from a single lot date code?(A5) No.The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on May 13, 2010. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
