- Description
- The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Contracting and Procurement Branch 1, proposes to contract the Drydock & Repairs of USCGC HALIBUT (WPB - 87340), an 87' Patrol Boat Cutter, home moorage in Marina del Rey, CA. All work shall be at the contractor's certified facility during the period of 01 September 2010 through 19 October 2010. Please note: this vessel is geographically restricted to the United States West Coast, San Francisco Bay and South. The proposed work items include but are not limited to: Install new Anchor Windlass; Install AFFF Bilge Sprinkler System; Preserve Mast; Preserve Underwater Body 100%; Preserve Freeboard; Remove, Inspect & Reinstall Propeller Shafts. On or about 09 June 2010, a Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This will be a Total Small Business Set-aside procurement. Only 100% certified small business contractors may submit a proposal. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees.
