- THIS IS A NOTICE ONLY TO VA-258-10-RP-0032. The solicitation is amended and Amendment 2 was posted to FBO on May 19, 2010 with an extension of the closing date from May 24, 2010 to June 4, 2010 at 1:00 PM. This notice is to extend the date in FBO only due to system issues. Contractors are reminded that offers will only be accepted electronically at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs VENDOR PORTAL located at https://www.vendorportal.ecms.va.gov Please note that this is a Secure Socket website and therefore the https must be used when attempting to open the website rather than the standard http. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted and instructions for submissions will be contained in the actual solicitation when posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). Once the solicitation is posted to FBO the solicitation itself and all attachments will be visible on the VENDOR PORTAL. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE OTHER THAN WHAT IS NOTED HEREIN. FIRMS ARE INSTRUCTED NOT TO CALL REQUESTING MORE INFORMATION and to please watch the Fed Biz Opps or the U.S. Dept of Veterans Affairs VENDOR PORTAL for the actual posting of the solicitation package. ONLY ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF OFFERS THROUGH THE U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs VENDOR PORTAL located at https://www.vendorportal.ecms.va.gov will be accepted prior to the closing date of the solicitation. Contractors are also advised to carefully document any issues with the VA electronic commerce or VENDOR PORTAL as to the date and times of calling the administrators on the site, and encouraged to take screen shots of the problems so that they can be forwarded to the system administrators for resolution. Attachments too large will have to be broken into files that can be attached. The date for submission of references is not extended. Remaining RFI's will be answered in additional forthcoming amendments.
