- Description
- On February 17, 2009 the Department was awarded $750 million of Recovery Act funding for a program of competitive grants for worker training and placement in high growth and emerging industries. DOL intends to use a portion of the funds to provide technical assistance for this program of grants to support a total at least 250 new grantees. Following the ARRA grant announcements, the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) will host comprehensive orientation training for all new grantees to ensure that grantees, especially those that have never administered Federal funds, fully understand the fiscal, administrative, and programmatic requirements for their grants.
