- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) for agency membership. AASHTO membership provides technical assistance through their leadership programs which assist FHWA employees, state and local officials in meeting their goals for participating in professional organizations. Additionally, AASHTO membership allows FHWA to meet the executive director objective for professional development for all members. Because AASHTO is the only source who can provide membership for their agency they are considered the only source for the services. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is May 28, 2010.
