- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue sole source solicitation number N00024-10-R-6277 for a task order contract intented to provide continued professional support services for Team Submarine until completion of the full and open, follow on competition under SeaPort. The legacy SeaPort Task Order No. N00024-01-D-7013-0019 was for the procurement to provide support services to the Undersea Weapons Program Office (PMS404) in the areas of program management, research support, test and evaluation support, integrated logistics support, fleet readiness support, and financial management support. These services were supplied for life cycle support of the MK48, MK 48 ADCAP, MK48 ADCAP MOD6, MK48 ADCAP MOD 7 (CBASS), Heavyweight Torpedo Program, Torpedo APBs, and the MK46, MK46 5A (S), MK46 5A (SW), MK50, MK54, ASW Targets MK39 Mod 2 (EMATT) and Vertical Launch ASROC (VLA) Lightweight Torpedo Programs. This requirement will be solicited sole source from the current service provider, Alion Science and Technology Corporation, Incorporated in McLean, VA. Alion is the only source with the requisite knowledge necessary to meet the Government's needs in a timely manner for the applicable brief bridge period.
