- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AS REQUIRED BY FARSUBPART 5.7 PUBLICIZING REQUIREMENT UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF2009. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS WHO HOLD GSA SCHEDULE CONTRACTS FORTHIS TYPE OF SERVICE.ARC intends to issue a firm fixed price Request for Quote (RFQ) to GSA contract holdersfor a task titled: SUPER DENSITY OPERATIONS AIRSPACE DESIGN.This delivery order seeksto develop new procedures and technologies that will improve the efficiency of operationsin the terminal area near large airports, especially those in major metropolitan areaswhere there are several airports that may have operations that impact each other. Inorder to test operational concepts that the Airspace Project is developing, airspacedefinitions, including operational routes and procedures, must be developed. This project is to be conducted at the Contractors facilities. This task will be funded by the Recovery Act and will be made on a competitive, firmfixed price basis to GSA Schedule Contract holders under FAR Part 8.This announcement will not result in a Request for Quotation; this announcement is forinformational purposes only.
