- Sources Sought Notice for Information Only: The Air Combat Command Acquisition and Management Integration Center, (ACC AMIC), Langley AFB VA, is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to provide three Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS) dual power adapter for the Receiver/Transmitter, viz RT-1720G(C)/G, component of the AN/PSQ-6C EPLRS radio system, national stock number (NSN 6130-01-477-9906). The Performance Spec-Part Number for this effort is A3271227. Each dual power adapter must have the following salient characteristics: 1) Input power 20 to 32 VDC --OR-- 108-132 VAC single phase, 47 to 62 Hz --OR-- 198-242 VAC single phase, 47 to 62 Hz European 2) Output voltage 28.5 VDC with max ripple of 80 mV peak-to-peak and less than 3% regulation 3) Output power: minimum 56 mW/nominal 40 W/maximum 100 W 4) Overvoltage protection: auto shutdown if output voltage reaches 35 VDC 5) Reverse polarity protection: no damage if input voltage from 0 to -40 VDC 6) Inrush current: can provide 26 A for 10 ms upon radio power-up with voltage drop to no less than 18.5 VDC 7) MTBF: greater than 100,000 hours This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for a Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. AMIC is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the government. For the purposes of the RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 33599 - All other Misc Electrical Equipment & Component Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 500 employees. If your firm is capable of providing the requirements described in this RFI, please provide a Capability Statement to Ms. Holly Prinzel, holly.prinzel@langley.af.mil by 28 May 10 @1600 (EST). The Capability Statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experience in contracts requiring similar efforts to meet the program objectives. In addition, the following information is requested: (1) Company cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact, telephone number and email address; (2) Approximate annual gross revenue; (3) Any small business status (8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.); (4) Please indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under Government contracts The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information.
