Description

RFQ Form Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-39. (IV) This solicitation is total small business set aside. The associated NAICS code is 811310. The small business size standard is $7.0 million. (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial items (ONLY NEW EQUIPMENT SHALL BE ACCEPTED): Line Item 0001: BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO 121VTS u/c TRACK SYSTEM FOR CATERPILLAR MODEL 236 SKID-STEER, MFG. 2001 (VI) Description of requirements is as follows: SPECIFICATIONS: Track system to replace drive tires. 1) The VTS track system must be compatible with end item: Caterpillar Model 236 Skid-Steer, Year Mfr 2001. 2) All assembly hardware must be included 3) Must be able to remove tracks, reinstall tires for winter season. 4) This is NOT an over-the-tire-track system, but used in place of tires. 5) Include instructions for assembly and disassembly, parts & service manual. Caterpillar PN: 121VTS u/c. (VII) Required delivery 30 days ARO. Place of Delivery is 1300 Eisele Road, Fairbanks, AK 99712. Delivery shall be FOB Destination; quote shall include all shipping charges.
