- This is a Request for Proposal for the collection of water quality samples at various lakes within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Mission Boundaries. Work activities will generally consist of four major components: 1) scheduling, 2) water quality physical, chemical, and/or biological sampling and data collection, 3) quality control, and 4) reporting. Water quality sampling and data collection will consist of in situ measurements and sample collection for laboratory analysis. The Contractor will be responsible and accountable for the collection and delivery to the Government and analytical contract lab, as appropriate, all samples and data as specified. Proposals will be evaluated using Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method and will be evaluated on Past Performance, Past Experience and Price. The estimated cost range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Note: This requirement has been set-aside for small business. The NAICS code for this project is 541620. The size standard is $7.0 million. This solicitation has an approximate issue date of 14 May 2010. The solicitation will only be available on the web.
