- Description
- The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2-Southwest, Texas Chenier Refuge Complex, is preparing to issue a solicitation (Request for Quote-RFQ), No. 20181AQ540, on or about May 14, 2010 for the supply of approximately 2500 tons of 499-Type A, Grade I Flex Base that meets the requirements of Texas Department of Transportation Specifications Item 247 to the McFadden National Wildlife Refuge in Sabine Pass, Jefferson County, Texas. The delivery location will be along the south side of the Gulf Intercoastal Waterway (GIWW) at approximately 29 42'43.53 N, 94 07'28.47 W. Materials must be placed via barge at the final delivery location. A barge slip is available at the delivery location.The North American Industry Classification Code for this Requirement is: 423320, Brick, Stone, and related construction materials wholesalers with a small business size standard of 100 employees. The Product Service Code is: 5610, mineral construction materials-bulk. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The total performance period is 30 days. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 5.203(a)(1), supplies pertaining to this requirement have been determined to be commercially available and the response date of the solicitation shall be shortened to less than 30 days to read May 26, 2010. Interested parties wishing to quote on this requirement shall review the minimum specifications carefully and respond by this date utilizing the forms provided. When posted, the statement of work, specifications, along with any related documents, will be available for download via the National Business Center (NBC) website at: http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/login.jsp.
