- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Bank Stabilization and Erosion Control of the Highway 35 Bridge located across the intake canal to the St. Stephen Powerhouse, St, Stephen, Berkeley County, South Carolina. The North Side will be the base bid. The South side will be Option 1. This project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment for the placement of riprap and incidental related work. This will be a 100% Small Business set aside. The NAICS Code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $33.5 Million. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Project. MAGNITUDE OF WORK $1,000,000.00 TO $5,000,000.00. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award of a contract. Solicitation documents, plans, and specifications will only be available at https://www/fbo.gov It is the responsibility of the bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. The solicitation will be posted on or about 5 May 2010 with proposals due on or about 4 June 2010.
