- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for assistance with a study testing the usability and reliability of a prototype person-side instrument with items addressing an individual's ability to perform specific physical and mental work-related activities. This study is part of a larger project to develop a new occupational information system tailored specifically for the agency's disability programs and adjudicative needs. Specific tasks to be conducted include assisting in the development of the study design, developing three electronic data collection instruments (DCIs) and databases, developing one non-electronic DCI for focus groups, developing the protocol for each of the DCIs, facilitating and leading focus groups in 10 cities across the country, developing training, assisting with the pre-test(s) of the study design, monitoring the databases, analyzing study results, and preparing a report on the study findings. This requirement will be procured using procedures from Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. SSA anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced contract with a period of performance of 12 Months. The NAICS code is 541720 and the size standard is $7M. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. Solicitation number SSA-RFP-10-1041 is scheduled for release on or about June 28, 2010, with proposals due 45 calendar days thereafter. All questions must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer via email after issuance of the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for downloading from the FedBizOpps website. HARD COPIES OF THE RFP WILL NOT BE MAILED. Telephone requests will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the FedBizOpps website to check the status of this requirement and to keep current with any amendments that may be issued. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award.
