MARKET SURVEY CAPABILITY ASSESMENT FOR ELECTROCARDIOGRAPH (ECG) REDUNDANT SYSTEM HARDWARE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT FOR THE MORTARA E-SCRIBE NT DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WORK AT WILLIAM J. HUGHES TECHNICAL CENTER IN ATLANTIC CITY NJ NO PHONE CALL PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EITHER MAILED, FAXED OR EMAILED TO THE CONTACT SHOWN BELOW. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a single source requirement for services to provide E-Scribe Redundant System installation, software and maintenance support between Mortara Instrument (the contractor) and the FAA of the ECG System's Mortara E-Scribe NT Data Management System hardware, software, and peripherals. Contractor shall furnish all software, and services as specified in this statement of work and deliverables. The FFA intends to solicit and negotiate only with MORTARA INSTRUMENT, INC., Milwaukee, WI, in accordance with Acquisition Management System (AMS) policy 3.2.2.4, entitled Single Source Selection. This announcement is for market survey purposes only and is not a request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or for costs incurred in response to this market survey which are the sole responsibility of the responder. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, and all other business types and sizes, capable of providing the subject E-Scribe Redundant System installation, software and maintenance support. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation in any informational session is not a promise of future business with the FAA. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In addition, interested firms must provide documentation that they meet certain technical qualifications identified in the attached Draft Statement of Work. Respondents are encouraged to review the statement of work and provide comments. All responses to this market survey must be received by Thursday, June 3rd, 2010, 5:00 PM CST.
