- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to modify NSWCDD contract number N00178-06-D-3030 currently sole sourced to Custom Analytical Engineering Systems, Incorporated; 13000 Tensor Lane NE; Flintstone, MD 21530 for technical and engineering support related to the design, analysis and rapid prototyping of developmental gun and tube launched advanced munition systems utilizing the contractor's proprietary processes, technologies and test facilities. Custom Analytical Engineering Systems has a unique approach that integrates their proprietary laminate composite design and analysis code with their proprietary composite design and manufacturing methods for gun-launch munitions. This effort requires the use of the contractor's proprietary technologies and test facilities. This modification will increase the value of the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract which has provisions for term and completion orders.
