Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor; providing the best value to the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ). A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made as a best value procurement using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13, using a comparative evaluation of quotations based on price, past performance, and technical qualifications as shown in the solicitation. In addition to pricing information, contractors must respond with the required supplemental information which are the technical specifications on all products offered, as well as the estimated delivery date, and the F.O.B. point. The NAICS code for this project is 444190 and the small business size standard is not to exceed 500 employees. This procurement is 100% Set-aside for Small Business, and the National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged, service disabled veteran owned, and women-owned business enterprises. The Solicitation Number for the Request for Quotation (RFQ) is Q8620100019. Responses to the Request for Quotation will be due no later than 5:00 PM on 06/01/10. The estimated date for the award will be 06/04/10. The estimated delivery date for all materials to be deliveried to Fort Bowie National Historic Site is 06/25/10. Email your quotation using the attached form with all required documentation; no oral quotations will be accepted. Offerors must furnish their company name, DUNS number, address, phone and fax number, email address, and official point of contact. All quotes must be signed by an authorized company official and emailed to Steve_Shatz@nps.gov. Access to the site is on a combination of paved and unpaved roads, and is not accessible with a tractor-trailer. There is no loading dock and no fork lift at the delivery location, and the contractor shall be responsible for off loading all materials. The government may have a loader available to assist with the delivery. Contract structure: While quotations for all items are preferred, this is not an all-or-nothing solicitation. Contractors may quote on those items that they can provide. The contract will be awarded as base items with a firm-fixed price.
