- The United States Army Contracting Command Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000, on behalf of the U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command-Armaments Research, Development and Engineering Center (RDECOM-ARDEC) has a requirement to purchase a quantity of five (5) each, Mu-Del Electronics, Inc. High Gain C- Band Pre-Amplifiers, P/N: MDA-5458-80/010912 to be used in support of the EXCALIBURs Block 1-B projectile development. Three additional options for five (5) of the same High Gain C-Band Pre-Amplifiers per option may be exercised. The US Government intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source effort with Mu-Del Electronics, Inc. 8576 Wellington Rd., Manassas, VA, 20109 based on unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencys requirement. A determination of the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
