- The North Texas Job Corps is soliciting proposals for the removal and disposal of the gym floor. The gym floor is on the center's inventory of asbestos containing building materials (ACBM). Abatement will include the removal of approximately 7,800 SF of ACBM in the form of gym flooring and mastic. For gym floor replacement project, please see project# GFR051410-B. Proposal packages will be available on May 26, 2010 and may be obtained by contacting Tim Accountius, Center Buyer via email (preferred) at Accountius.tim@jobcorps.org or by phone at (972) 547-7807 or cell# (469) 446-4718. There will be a Pre-Proposal Conference / Site Walkthrough held on May 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. CST. While the pre-proposal meeting is not mandatory, it is highly recommended to become familiar with the site and project requirements. The due dates for all proposals will be June 9, 2010 4:30 p.m. CST. North Texas Job Corps is operated on behalf of the United States Department of Labor by Horizons Youth Services. This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
