Description
This acquisition is for an indefinite Quantity long term contract for 4 NSNs. These items are being solicited on an Unrestricted basis with Other Than Full and Open Competition under FAR Part 15. The four NSNs being solicited are as follows with the Annual Demand Quantity in parentheses: 5945005574221 (5), 5945007297813 (101), 6110014078339 (19), and 6130014814071 (7). Approved sources for 5945005574221 are Dare Electronics (55901) and Logitek (15420). Approved sources for 5945007297813 are Logitek (15420), Viking Technologies (71313), and Tyco Electronics/Agastat Relays ((89020). The approved source for 6130014814071 is Logitek (15420). NSN 6110014078339 has drawings/specifications which will be available through DIBBS. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The anticipated contract will be for a period of one base year with four one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The total anticipated contract length is not to exceed five years. The anticipated value of the resulting contract is $408,144.15 for the base period plus 4 option periods. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. The Government does not possess any of the drawings or specifications required to manufacture the 5945 and 6130 items. While price will be a significant evaluation factor, past performance delivery, and other evaluation factors will also apply. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. One or more items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemened in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. This solicitation will be issued on or about June 1, 2010 and will be posted to the DSCC Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS).
