- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall reference solicitation Number W911RZ-10-T-0166. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40. Fort Carson intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for rental of 8 EA 47 passenger coach type buses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 485510 with a small business size standard of $7.0 Million. This requirement is a set aside for Small Business (SB) concerns. The Contractor shall propose the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): CLIN 0001 Rental of 8 EA 47 passenger Coach Type buses without drivers. Buses shall include luggage bays, heat, air conditioning, automatic transmission and unlimited mileage. Delivery to Bldg 301, Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) Fort Carson, CO by 12pm Noon on 26 May 2010. TMP will return to a local vendor by 4pm on 25 June 2010. Any vendor outside of the Colorado Springs, CO area must make arrangements to pick up the buses at Ft. Carson, Colorado. Buses must be repaired or replaced within 4 hours of any breakdown that causes the bus to be out of service. During the Period of Performance, the vehicles will be parked at TMP Motor Pool areas when not being used. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose technically acceptable offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and delivery factors considered. To be eligible for an award, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. A contractor can contact the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or e-mail at http://www.ccr.gov. NO EXCEPTIONS. A DUNS (Dun and Bradstreet) number is required in order to register.
