- INSTALLATION OF WATER MAIN ALONG AN EXISTING TOWN ROAD IN MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS (BARNSTABLE COUNTY) & ASSOCIATED COMMUNITY SERVICE CONNECTIONS This Scope of Work proposes to serve a number of Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe citizens' homes with community water service facilities. Project will install water main along an existing town road (Meeting House Road) in Mashpee, Massachusetts and associated community water service connections. Project consists of installation of approximately 3625' (12" DI) water main, 1205' (2" PE) distribution water line, 8 individual (1" PE) community water service connections, and associated appurtenances. Project is located on Meeting House Road in Mashpee, Massachusetts. Proposed water main will connect two dead-end mains: the northerly one being at the base of the Mashpee Water District storage tank and the southerly one being at the intersection of Hanson Drive. Work shall be performed in accordance with plans and Mashpee Water District standards/requirements. Work shall include monitoring of work by a professional archaeologist. Scope of monitoring shall be prepared by Contractor and approved by Massachusetts Historical Commission and Engineer prior to starting work. Work also includes the preparation of an erosion control plan for review and approval by Engineer prior to initiating construction. Work shall include the Scope of Work & Specifications, but not limited to the following items: (1) Associated permits (local road opening, traffic control, etc.) shall be obtained by Contractor prior to starting work (2) The period of performance will be 90 calendar days. (3) The price range is approximately $300,000. (4) Performance/Payments bonds and a bid guarantee ARE REQUIRED. NAICS CODE is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. SET-ASIDE NOTICE: This procurement is set aside for 100 % Small Business firms. MANDATORY REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration: Any and all firms or persons wishing to respond to this solicitation must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database which is the primary Government repository for Contractor information required for the conduct of business with the Government.
