- NSN 6665-01-358-9334; ITEM DESCRIPTION DETECTOR, GAS UNIT OF ISSUE IS BOX. 1 BOX TO CONTAIN 10 TUBES.A MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET REQUIRED (MSDS) TO INCLUDE HANDLING AND DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS. SHELF LIFE 24 MONTHS, TYPE 1 FOB DESTINATION; INSpECTION AND ACCEPTANCE DESTINATION, DELIVERY 45 DAYS. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation, attachments, and any subsequent amendments will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFQ on the issue date of 5/12/2010 Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c )(1). Approved sources are: Draeger Safety, Supply Inc. Cage (53833). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The Government desires to award an Indefinite Delivery PurchaseOrder (IDPO) contract as a result of this solicitation for a period of one year, with 2 two-year option or until the aggregate total of the orders placed against the contract reach $100,000, for the item of supply listed in the solicitation item description.
