- Women's Wellness Center Stratton VA Medical Center The Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center (hereafter "The VA" or "VA"), located at 113 Holland Ave., Albany NY 12208, intends to release a competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB) numbered VA-528-10-RA-0142, for a project entitled "Women's Wellness Center" on or about the week of May 31, 2010. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified, the full IFB will be posted to the Government-wide Point of Entry (www.fbo.gov). The current intention of the VA is to procure these services competitively via a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The applicable NAICS code will be 236220, with an applicable small business size standard of $33.5 Million. The estimated construction value of this project falls within the range of $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bid, performance and payment bonding will be required to respond to this IFB once released. This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. The work to be performed under this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: "The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to accomplish the project as indicated on the drawings and in the specifications. The project will involve but not be limited to trades required for the renovation of the D Wing on the 8TH Floor of the Samuel S. Stratton VAMC including, but not limited to, demolition of interiors, construction of partitions, ceilings, doors, finishes, HVAC, electrical, fire protection and plumbing systems. The Contracting Officer will not be able to answer any questions to this notice until an Invitation for Bids is issued and only by Request for Information (RFI's)
