- DESCRIPTION: The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 19 Rocky Mountain Network Contracting Center intends to solicit sources to provide Audiology Services for the VA Montana Health Care System, Fort Harrison, MT. The Contract Audiologist independently performs a full range of audio logical evaluation services for outpatients within the policies of VA Montana Healthcare System and encompasses the following including Patient History and Audio logic Data. Select and fit appropriate hearing aids. Provides hearing aid orientation/counseling to the patient and significant others. Troubleshoots hearing aid problems, performs minor repairs/modifications. This acquisition shall be conducted through full and open competition and result in multiple awards of a firm-fixed price contract with one (1) base plus four (4) option years. This acquisition is being synopsized under the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 621340, Offices of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists and Audiologists. The solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All interested parties must register on the FedBizOpps site in order to receive notification or changes and/or new postings to the solicitation. There will be no further pre-announcement of when the solicitation will be posted, however, the issuance date is anticipated on or around May 14, 2010 with a closing date of June 4, 2010. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 52.212-4 all contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to conduct business with the Federal government.
