- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Panama City, Panama City, Florida intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Comark Corporation to provide advanced training and troubleshooting techniques for Sensor Interface Unit (SIU) test set. The training includes travel and training at both ACU5, Camp Pendleton, CA; ACU4 Naval Amphibious Base, Norfolk, VA; and West Pac Alpha, Sasebo, Japan. Travel costs to Japan shall be based on foreign travel rates published by GSA. The training will be one day in length and consist of ten (10) students. This procurement is sole source for the following reasons. Comark is the original equipment manufacture (OEM) for the SIU utilized as part of the C4N electronics suite. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
