- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. It is the Government intents to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the following commercial off-the shelf hardware: Bullfrog Items Part Number Description Quantity 02-2800945-1 V2 Bullfrog 1E 3 each 02-2800882-2 V2 Dual 80GB RHDD 3 each 02-2801205.3 V2 Toshiba CD-RW/DVD-R 3 each 06-2800883-1 4 GB RAM ECC DDR MEM 6 each (2 2GB Sticks) 09-2800643-2 Cable Assembly, Power 3 each Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Items 28-2800049-1 V2 1 KW UPS 3 each 10-2800113-15 V2 Installation Kit for UPS 3 each 09-2757123-6 Cable Assembly, AC Input 3 each 09-2757123-7 Cable Assembly, DC Input 3 each The solicitation number for this requirement is W31P4Q-10-R-0155. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Required delivery is 150 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Delivery of the commercial hardware will be made FOB Destination to DODAAC W90DXV. C-RAM Cell Warehouse, 115 Electronics Circle, Huntsville AL 35824 Inspection and Acceptance is Destination. The delivery date of the resulting contract will be 150 days from award date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, The responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered: Clause 52.212-3, offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; Clause 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests; Clause 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions; and Clause 52.232-7003 Army Electronic Invoicing Instructions, are applicable to this acquisition, other may be included in the award if applicable. Payment will be made via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) in accordance with DFAS 252.232-7003. Proposal is due no later than 4:00 PM (CST), 19 May 2010, in the contracting Office, Building 5303 Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5250. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, this item is restricted to GENERAL DYNAMICS. CAGE Code 4XCH3, 2040 Stevens Creek Blvd St 300, Cupertino CA, 95014-6813. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Electronic proposal is preferred, but fax proposal will be accepted. The proposal should also include a copy of your commercial price list or price support along with your cage code, Taxpayer Identification number, and DUNS number. Proposals/Offers received after the specified due date and time will not be considered for award. See number note 22 is revised as follows: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
