- See attached draft documents of Sections B through M and attachments 1 through 4 for industry comment. The Military Sealift Fleet Support Command, Ship Support Unit San Diego, solicitation for CONUS West Coast and Hawaii general ship repair requirements will be a multiple award contract (MAC). The solicitation will include three separate line items, one for each region in which performance is anticipated to take place: San Diego, CA; Puget Sound area in WA; and Honolulu, HI. Offers may submit proposals for one or more regions and will be evaluated for base plus four option years commencing 01 OCT 2010. Contract Delivery Orders will range in value from minimum $2,500 to maximum order value of $2,000,000. It is anticipated that GCPC cardholders will issue individual requirements under $2500 for services that incorporate the terms and conditions of the MAC. MSRA/ABR requirements will be determined on a per order basis based upon the comlexity of the requirement. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is May 24, 2010. The closing time and date of the solicitation will be 11:00 AM Pacific time, June 25, 2010, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. Once posted, the solicitation will be available on the MSC Website. Go to https://www.procurement.msc.navy.mil/procurement/contract/RFPSearchEntry.jsp, enter RFP number. Alternatively go to http://www.msc.navy.mil/. Successively select "Contracts", "Requests for Proposals RFP/RFQ", enter the solicitation number and follow downloading instructions. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small businesses. A draft copy of Sections B through M as well as attachments 1 through 4 are attached to this notice for industry comment. It is anticipated that a preproposal conference be held in San Diego approximately 2 weeks prior to bid closing.
