Description
This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1) and (FAR 13.501). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any SDVOSB firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 10:00 AM EST, May 7, 2010. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed below. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to david.d.devoy@us.army.mil The United States Property and Fiscal Office, New Hampshire, intends to negotiate a Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSB) sole-source purchase order with Shipley Communications for Four Lenses Training. The Four Lenses training/consultation to be provided on May 15-16, 2010 and May 22-23, 2010. The May 15-16, 2010 training is for Deployment Readiness training for 190 people, to include all travel, lodging, and per diem. The May 22-23, 2010 training is for Deployment Readiness training for 190 people, to include all travel, lodging, and per diem. Both training events will take place within the state of New Hampshire. The four lenses training is a personality inventory that assists participants of understanding their own style of communicating, working, problem solving, and enhances their ability to participate in team environments as they learn what their strengths and the strengths of others. This training is unique because it specializes in deployment readiness, reunion and reintegration for the military and their families. The four lenses training is applied directly to military members and their respective lifestyles. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All qualified sources may submit a response. Responses need to provide evidence the offeror can provide the required products. Responses must be received NLT 10:00 AM EST, May 7, 2010.
