THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO CONTRACTOR UNDER W9127N-10-R-0037. THIS IS A UNITED STATES FOREST SERVICE REQUIREMENT BEING SUPPORTED BY THE US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS - PORTLAND DISTRICT. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO 8(a) CONTRACTOR: Global Construction Group Inc. (DUNS: 837105105). This contract action will be accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires it, (FAR 6.302-5) sole source awards under the 8(a) program. SIUSLAW FOREST, HEBO LAKE CAMPGROUND Location: Located on Forest Service Road 14, 4.5 miles east of Hebo. Access: Off Highway 101, travel south on Hwy 22 mile. At Forest Service Road 14, travel east 4.5 miles to the entrance of the Hebo Lake Campground. Hebo Lake Campground will close for restoration and campground improvements on May 2 and remain closed throughout the summer season. The improvements consist of deepening the lake, replacing fishing platforms, and making improvements to day use and overnight camping areas. Work will consist of deepening the lake area and replacing docks to improve the fishing experience. Additional improvements planned are to rearrange parking spurs and campsites to more clearly define the day use area from the overnight camping areas. Sites will be brought into ADA compliance. New picnic tables, fire pits, pedestal grills and kiosk signs will be installed.
