- RECOVERY Antley Trail Bridges, Tuchuck and Yakinikak Creek Description(s): THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) of 2009; interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-82B1-S-10-0354on or about May 19, 2010 for the RECOVERY (Project name) Project. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after May 19, 2010 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition will be distributed solely through this website. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201; however, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of removal of two native log vehicle bridges, replacing them with two glued-laminated stringer trail bridges, and disposal of removed bridge material. Contractor must furnish all lumber, hardware, and labor for the new installations. PROJECT LOCATION: The work is located in the Glacier View District of the Flathead National Forest, Montana. This project is located in grizzly bear habitat. PARTICIPATION: This project is a Full and Open as covered in FAR 19.10. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered..
