- Limited Source Justification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4707-10-Q-0037. This RFQ is for an offeror to provide the items listed below to the HDI Federal Center in Battle Creek, MI. This is a brand name requirement. No substitutions are allowed. See attached Limited Source Justification. Only NEW equipment is being solicited. Remanufactured or refurbished equipment, as defined in FAR 11.001, is technically unacceptable. The resulting contract or order will be firm-fixed price. Place of performance is: Defense Logistics Information Services, HDI Federal Center, 74 Washington Avenue North, Battle Creek, Michigan 49037-3084. THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The offeror shall provide a price for each contract line item number (CLIN) listed above and a total amount for all items offered.
