- This is a requirement for the overhaul of the E-3Electro-Mechanical Actuator. The contractor shall provide all labor,facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish repair, test,packing, preservation and packaging of the B E-3 Electro-MechanicalActuator. A firm fixed price requirements type contract iscontemplated. The contract period will be one year with four one-yearoptions. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 1680-01-022-0732RK, P/N's R1604M8; Applicableto the E-3 aircraft; Basic Year Quantity, 16 each; Option I YearQuantity, 12 each; Option II Year Quantity, 12 each; Option III YearQuantity, 12 each; Option IV, 12 each. Item 0003 Data IAW DD1423s. Item 0004 Over and Above Work. Deliveries are to be in accordance with instructions received from theProduction Management Specialist prior to shipment(s): on or before 2each per month beginning 30 days ARO and repairable item or fundedorder. PR number is FD2030-10-26807. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
