- The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis a firm fixed price modification to contract M67854-09-F-2133 with Interstate Electronics Corporation of Anaheim, CA. This procurement is for spare parts to Interstate Electronics' VideoScout-MC2 system and is estimated at $99,913. The statutory authority for this sole source purchase is under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice, however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements and past performance data no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on 18 May 2010. All documents should be submitted to Patricia Pagonis, Contracting Officer at patricia.pagonis@usmc.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone calls will be accepted.
