- *RECOVERY* ***** THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY ***** ***** PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE ***** The USDA - Forest Service intends to award a Firm Fixed price Contract for the following project: PROJECT LOCATION: Nantahala National Forest, Tusquitee Ranger District, Clay County, North Carolina. This project involves the Fires Creek Picnic Area Access Trails Work consists of the reconstruction of the existing asphalt paved picnic area access trails and paving a section of the existing gravel parking lot to meet ADA requirements. Related work includes parking lot signage, pavement markings and minor repairs to existing steel pedestrian bridge. The solicitation for this project will be forthcoming. Please check back in the next few weeks for its release and all applicable requirements and related information. *********************************************************************** NO INFORMATION WILL BE DISCUSSED AT THIS TIME. PLEASE DO NOT CALL ON THIS PROJECT UNTIL THE SOLICITATION HAS BEEN RELEASED.
