- The FAA intends to award three (3) Indefinite-Quantity/Indefinite-Delivery Type Construction Contracts to three qualified Indian tribe or an Alaska Native Corporations who are certified as 8(a) business concerns in accordance with AMS Policy, Paragraph 3.6.1.3.5. The Agency intendst to award three (3), but reserves the right to award to less than three (3). The area of responsibility is for the entire State of Alaska. Awardees are expected to service any/all of the Agency's facilities within the borders of Alaska. The IDIQ's, however, are not mandatory sources, and the Agency reserves the right to award contracts off this specific contract schedule. Please see the attached solicitation for more information. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
