- Solicitation amendment HC1028-10-T-2116-0001 to correct offer due date from 3 May 2010 to 6 May 2010 at 2:00 PM Central. Solicitation HC1028-10-T-2116 for McAfee software maintenance DISA/DITCO intends to issue a brand name purchase order for the acquisition of McAfee software maintenance in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c). The software being maintained is proprietary and protected by copyright laws. No third party maintenance is authorized. Period of performance is 10 May 2010 through 9 May 2011. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance renewal must complete the attached solicitation, HC1028-10-T-2116, and return it via email to jennifer.page@disa.mil by 2:00 P.M. (Central Time) on 6 May 2010. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The NAICS code is 541519 for this procurement. The justification detailing the government's essential need for McAfee software maintenance is listed below. The Ironmail Gateway Security Platform was purchased in 2008 and was the only system that met JTF-GNO and DISA essential email gateway security requirements at the Internet Access Points. Although other vendors have email security capabilities, only Ironmail met all of the essential requirements defined in this project. To minimize loss of productivity and expenditure of time, money, and manpower, DISA requires continuation of the maintenance and support of its existing Ironmail equipment.
