- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being accepted and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation number is H92244-10-T-0144. The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) has a requirement to procure doors. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-39 effective 19 March 2010. This procurement is set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 332322 with a standard business size of 500 employees. The Defense Priority and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Section B Schedule of Supplies and Services CLIN 0001 - CONTRACT SHALL FABRICATE 2'6" X 6'8" DOORS, RIGHT HAND, OPENING IN, WITH ENTRANCE LOCK SET, MADE OF 18 GAUGE STANDARD FRAME REINFORCED WITH A 12 GAUGE GALVANIZED 2" FLANGE. FAR 52.209-1 Qualification Requirements (FEB 1995) FAR 52.212-2 EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in decending order of importance: Technical, price and delivery. (b) Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). (c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
