- NOTICE OF SOURCES SOUGHT: There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This sources sought is in support of a market survey being conducted by the Solar Furnace Facility (WSSF) at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM to determine potential sources technically capable and qualified to provide solar furnace mirror replacements that can operate at 100% capability. WSSF is seeking a provider for the following: 1)Qty 400ea 24 x 24x5/8 Flat Honeycomb Panels with 3/8 aluminum honeycomb core,.500 thick, with 1 mm low iron glass mirrors, with EFI Hi-Pro epoxy laminating adhesive 3M 966 pressure adhesive for mirror bonding and Aluminum taped edge. 2)Qty 210ea 24x24x5/8 Curved Honeycomb Panes (21.4 m spherical curvature) with 3/8 aluminum honeycomb core,.500 thick, with 1mm low iron glass mirrors, with EFI Hi-Pro epoxy laminating adhesive 3M 966 pressure adhesive for mirror bonding and Aluminum taped edge. 3)Qty 1ea Tooling and Fixture for curved Panels. The North American Industry code for this acquisition is 332312. The information and capabilities submitted by the vendors will be used to prepare a prospective offerors list and aid in acquisition strategy. Include any suggestions on what your firm would consider standard commercial practices. Also, indicate what type of company your business is (small business, 8(a), veteran-owned small business, etc.). Again, participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if a solicitation is not issued. Any responses to this notice expressing interest in being considered for this proposed contract should include the following: Company Name, Point of Contact, Address, Telephone and Fax numbers, E-mail address, Business Size, DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax ID number. Notice to Potential Offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the DOD must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR), Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) as well as, the Wide Area Work Flow System (WAWF). All interested offerors should submit their information by email to vanessa.n.palomo@us.army.mil no later than 30 April 2010.
