- U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Data Device Corporation 105 Wilbur Place Bohemia, NY 11716-2426, for two (2) Bus Interface Units, P/N BU-67102U200L-CA0 for the MH-47/MH-60 aircrafts. The proposed action is for an item that is manufactured by Data Device Corporation and the Government does not specifications to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this item or equal are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due dates (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 13 May 2010.
