- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quote under quotation number N00178-10-Q-1532. This procurement is open to all businesses under NAICS Code 541511. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure annual maintenance and support for its Actuate PBViews Global Edition software. This maintenance and support shall be for 10 concurrent users at the silver support level. Maintenance and support shall for a period of performance from 01 June 2010 to 31 May 2011. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. Award is estimated on 11 May 2010. Quotes may be submitted no later than 5pm EST on 05 May 2010 by EMAIL in Microsoft Word format to Carrie.Moore1 @navy.mil or by FAX to: 540-653-7088. Email or Fax should reference Request for Quote N00178-10-Q-1532 in the subject line. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment offices may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT information contained in the CCR database. This order will be subject to Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) procedures.
