- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition in support of the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). The TAC intends to award a sole source, one (1) year, firm-fixed price contract with two (2) 1-year option periods to Veterans Enterprise Technology Solutions Inc. (VETS Inc.), 2057 Woodford Rd., Suite 200, Vienna, VA 22182, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (5), 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(5), 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), and the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations (VAAR) Subpart 819.7007 for information technology services to design and implement enhancements in support of the VBA Work Study Management System (WSMS). This action is required to enhance the existing WSMS application with business functionality that includes change requests from the completed User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The contractor will gather requirements, design technical solutions, develop code, perform testing, create project documentation and provide implementation support for the required enhancements. All software development activities will be within the guidelines outlined in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Enterprise Architecture Technical Reference Model/Standards Profile. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541511 with a corresponding small business size standard of $25M average annual revenue. The estimated date of award for this action is July 12, 2010. This notification shall close on May 10, 2010.
