- The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Amarillo Field Office needs to remove and dispose of gas well produced liquids at Cliffside Gas Field. These liquids consist of produced saltwater with residual hydrocarbons. The liquid is defined as oil and gas waste by the Texas Water Code and is regulated by the Texas Railroad Commission. As such, the liquid will be disposed of in properly permitted disposal wells and is not considered hazardous waste.
