- This solicitation has been posted on www.fedconnect.net. The work consists of treating noxious weeds on approximately 936 acres of forest land and road right of Ways, cutting approximately 100 windthrown trees blocking road access to the sites. Project areas are located on the Umpqua Resource Area of the Coos Bay BLM District in Coos and Douglas County, Oregon. Estimated Start Work is May 17, 2010 for 555 acres, June 7 for 1 acre, and June 14 for 380 acres. This solicitation allows for increased quantities not to exceed 30 percent of the original contract price. Bonds are not required; liability insurance is required after award. A valid State of Oregon Commercial Pesticide Operator/Applicator license is required including Forest and Right of Way categories. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is on or after April 26, 2010. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
