Description
The Regional Climate Change and Natural Resource Management Advisor will work under the Director of the Regional Economic Growth and Integration (REGI) Office. He or she will provide expert technical and policy advice on a broad range of issues related to climate change and natural resource management. He or she will coordinate directly with bilateral USAID missions in the region, USAID/Washington, U.S. Embassies, the broader US Government (USG) agencies working in eastern and central Africa, the Regional Economic Communities COMESA, the East African Community, and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), as well as other African institutions including the Lake Victoria Basin Commission. He or she will be responsible for designing and supervising the implementation of contracts and/or grants.
