- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to award on a competitive basis a purchase order to acquire a quantity of eight (8) PN 8960 Pulse Tetrode Tubes manufactured by Amperex. These tubes will replace existing tubes in the department's high powered transmitter used to produce high RF levels to perform MIL STD 461 and MIL STD 464 testing. The transmitters were uniquely built with specific size and power requirements and only an exact replacement tube will meet the requirement. THESE TUBES MUST BE NEW AND NOT REBUILT TUBES. The 8960 tube has an output power of 425 kW, plate dissipation of 1200KW, and has a 7 volt filament at 36 amps.The Request For Quote (RFQ) Number is N00178-10-Q-3533. The required delivery is 30-45 days after receipt of order. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13 as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. DFAR 252..211-7003 Item Identification and Valuation is applicable to this purchase. The NAICS Code is 334411 and the FSC Code is 5960. Pricing will be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5114. Therefore, the quote must include all applicable shipping charges. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE. The closing date is 30 April 2010, 12 Noon local time. Anticipated award date is 05 May 2010.
